for some reason post counts and last posted by arnt changing??

also,
I set up the email server it is working, but, i tested it and got the email for reistering, alright, it said click this link to complete your registration. so I did,
It just has a page pop up that shows links for ads?
whats up with this,

Take a look at the URL you entered for your forum in the admin setup.

No it's not correct. Just enter the full URL for the forum, linke in http://www.mysite.com/forum/

Better not put the default.asp at the end, ok. Just use http://www21.brinkster.com/redlineracing/forum/

that link goes to a not found page from here, is that an issue?

also ``
I noticed all the other forums ive seen have a /forum/
directory in url before the asp files

I think I forgot to create forum directory before uploading files???

A directory called "forum" isn`t necessary, but most people call it like that to know what files belong to the forum.
