Ok, I upgraded from the most recent pre-3.4.x version to 3.4.3 and now I've got some major Snitz problems. (The upgrade process looked like it went fine.)
1. Users can't login. I try to log in with my password but it tells me that I have to register to try a different password. If I get the encrypted password from the database and paste it into the password login box, it logs me in though. I've even tried deleting my cookies but still no-go.
2. Forum descriptions are gone. They're still in the edit screens, but they're not displaying.
3. Web links aren't working. My current ones look (and act) like normal forums and any attempt to set up new ones makes them look like normal forums.
The link to my forum is: http://www.jasons-toolbox.com/forum/ Any help would be appreciated.

First, did you delete all previous version files before uploading the new version ones?
Second, you may be having caching problems, where your default.asp file may be being cached by your server. Try logging in from another page, forum.asp for example. |

I archived them to a backup directory (but have not loaded them). I just deleted them (as they're saved locally for backup purposes), and it's still not working.
I think it might be a caching issue. I just opened up default.asp and made "Contains new posts since last visit." read "Contains new posts since last visit.." (double period). Uploaded and refreshed... and refreshed... and refreshed.... no change. Then I viewed the source to find the BR tags of the form: "<br>" when 3.4.x seems to use "<br />"
I just sent a support request to my web host.
Thanks,

And wouldn't you know it... Just when I did that, the problem fixes itself? Guess the cache cleared on it's own.
Thanks and now to play with the new features,
