I guess this is a good way for me to see how much I actually spend on my computer. Looks like a neat little project. |

I'm not using the big stats thing in my signature because it simply makes things way too big. I already have a lot of info in my sig as it is |

quote: you can do that right now. I have it installed at home and at work. I just don't think it can pulse from two computers at basically the same time. they have a whole forum over there dedicated to reporting cheaters/smashers!
Don`t need it at the same time but only the same account, since I write much more with my computer at work as the one at home.
Also, I had a problem this morning. Have written some mails with about 6000 letters and the program tried to pulse the server during the attempt to get a connection to the internet. The connection failed and the keystrokes were gone.

sounds like a proxy issue, was this at home or at work? I am inclined to believe that your place of work has a firewall/proxy up so you need to have enter the proxy rights. if you don't know what they are you can generally look in your IE browser under Connections/Lan Settings. those same settings should work in your Pulse proxy settings. |

I agree, I made a considerably smaller one that I am using at another forum:

one thing I have found in the Drawing Objects is that transparency does not work. I searched on the net and it is apparently a known issue/bug otherwise I would make it blend in to appear like regular text. |

no problem whatsoever.
sorry for the spam, I read the topics backwards. I should have included all of my replies in one post.
Gremlin, you just debunked my transparency comment, how did you make it blend?

Perhaps cut out a few of the less-important stats, make the background white or grey (to match the forums), make the text black or the navy blue that the forums use and put a 1px black border around it. Use 10pt for the text, non-bold and see what it looks like. I think it might be cool. |

bwjm, gremlin has his using transparency so I don't want to hard code a color, I want to know how he did it because it did not work for me. as for a border, well its not like putting a border on an image or table, you need to do all the points of the grid axis. like I showed above with the black and red one, I can make it smaller, no problem, I am more concerned with making it transparent and then it can easily look like plain ol' text
all the stats that are currently displayed are those that was requested. I like knowing these numbers as well and would have a hard time removing any one of them. in fact I want to show one more stat which is the percentage of contributed keystrokes to the team because I am working on a graph script the people over at project-dolphin don't make that part easy though |

OK, check this out:

Close to what you've got, but I get the background and colour changes. I built this entirely from the source you provided for the original single-line white on blue copy. |

Life is a waste of time. Time is a waste of life. So get wasted all of the time and have the time of your life. |

Edit your signature. Where you've got the URL currently, just put a "[ img ]" before it and a "[ /img ]" after it. No quotes and remove the spaces between the brackets. |

No, it`s on my private machine without firewall and proxy (except the one from my ISP, which I don`t know). It seems only to happen if I set the Pulse Rate to "I pulse the server manually". Doing the pulse automatically, it works fine. |

Easy enough to Draw a rectangle around it using GDI, I haven't joined your team becuase I'll probably end up joining the OCNZ Team.
Dayve I'll email you my script that does the transparent stuff, I sorta know how it works but I did basically cobble it together from a script I found on the net. |
