Erin, go to http://project-dolphin.net/sign_up.shtml to sign up, then download the utility and install it. After that's done, you can go to your account page and choose "Join a Team". On that page you enter Broken Machine in the text field and hit enter. It'll show the correct team and you can join it. Probably won't take more than a minute or two to do all that |

You're very welcome (I added very so I would have four more key counts than normal, and with this explanation I'm only adding a couple more. There's no harm in it seeing how the others have done something like this too )
By the way, I've broken the 100.000 key counts barrier for the team |

Yeah, it's weird how knowing that my keystrokes are being counted "incentivates" (to Anglicize a very useful word from Portuguese) me to go ahead and do the work that waits for me. For example, I've got some editing work to do (hard work by any account), but knowing that my efforts might be recorded somewhere somehow make it easier for me to finish the work.
And another good thing--it doesn't make me feel so bad about making typos or using the Backspace key to delete characters when I know I could use CTRL + Backspace to delete one word.
Anyway, as always, it's always cool to try something new. You never know what you might learn! |

welcome to the team guys... boy, this thing is catching on more than I thought it would. I find it funny that at Project Dolphin they have this simple, funny yet ironically true warning:
WARNING: Continued use of Pulse has been known to be psychologically addictive. After prolonged use of this software, not having it loaded may make you feel slightly "empty", and as though you are wasting your keystrokes for every key you type that is not being counted. |

Okay, so we grok each other, how about the all-important image that shows my stats? i.e., the one brad seems to have that Roland doesn't seem to? |

dayve, I know this is off-topic, but I just have to ask--do you ever listen to Opal? Or should I go to burningsouls (what a pleasant thought...) to ask? I did a search there once, but didn't find much about her... Man, she's awesome... If you're into 4 A.D. stuff... but whew, I'm really getting off topic here... |

I thought you knew how to do that, the info is indeed in this thread your PD userid is 24938 so this would be your stats image

Yes, I recalled seeing the info somewhere along the line in the last few days. I was just about to go back to check it out, but you beat me to it... |

You're also living in No Cal, so you'll understand it when I say that having infinity keystrokes is hella cool! |

you can do that right now. I have it installed at home and at work. I just don't think it can pulse from two computers at basically the same time. they have a whole forum over there dedicated to reporting cheaters/smashers! |
