Has anyone ever written a statistics MOD that shows who (list usernames) have visited a forum within the last xx number of days?

The reason for this is so that I can follow up on the ones that have been not visited lately.

Please advise.

You can get that info from members.asp. You can sort your members there by using the Last Visit column.
