I haven't understood what is this new version...

I downloaded, I remmeber, the 02 version and it doesn't look like the 3.4 version...
I have only understood that this new version will support internationalization in a better an easier way...

So, what's new?
Can you tell me a topic where I can find something?

Thx

Version 4 has not been released yet, but there are beta versions floating around. It will support internationalization as you said.

Version 3.4.0.2 is the current version, with version 3.4.0.3 to be released this weekend.

DO a search for more info.

Actually, floating around isn't the best way to describe it.

There are beta versions of the version 4.0 of the Snitz Forums that includes the internationalization feature which allows you to make available your forum in different languages. According to Bozden, the beta versions are stable enough to use in production enviroments.

Bozden is in the process of internationalizing the 3.4 version for release.

Snitz Forums 4.0 will be our next major official release after 3.4.

Well, in fact thats "me" who is floating around .

Last release of v4 betas is v4b03.005, and is functionaly equivalent to v3.3.05. A lot of people use this version in production environments without any problem.

What I'm preparing now is v4b04, which will be "based" on v3.4, but will include some more stuff (code additions, code changes, db changes) related to internationalization. It will also use basic CSS related to <font> tags.

I don't know if anything special will be added. This will be decided in Dev-Team, not by me alone, I'm the hard worker here (I only have some ideas ).

You can reach an overview of Internationalization through the link in my signature. Also the development status can be seen here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=26784

Thx, I am checking the development status every day... And this from about 2 weeks...

Will the upgrade from 3.4.xx to 4.xx be gradual or drastic? I ask this because of the great enhancements and the sostantial database modifications...

Will you include any new Mods or not?

You will be able to upgrade any v3.x installation as usual. As usual again, you also need to re-apply the MODs, if they are v4 compatible of course. I think it will take some time to transform the MODs to internationalized versions.

Your last question was answered in my previous post.
