Basically, I have very very little knowledge of forums... but would like one on my site. I have downloaded the latest Snitz and tried to install it but it never works for me 
If I give you the info u need, would anyone out there please be willing to send me the asp files I need to make it work? Because I dont have the knowledge to install it myself... (and yes I have looked at the guide
I hope someone can help me,

I'm just leaving and will be away for the rest of the day. I also won't be here tomorrow all day. However if noone else offers to help ya I can do it tomorrow night. Email me by then if you're still stuck.
Does your server support ASP? |

Yes we had the site moved to a server that supports ASP because the original didnt. Its all moved over and everything now but I just dont have the know-how of how to do it!

If you can wait for 2 more days, am working on an Adminstartor-Manual for Snitz forums.
It is a kind of Step-by-Step guide. I will submit it to be accessed by any interested person, I guess you are.
If you got no help with in the coming two days, which am not expecting, the guide will do help you alot. |

Well, infact, am sorry for that. But i guess there is a little misunderstanding here. Read carefuly what i wrote, what you quote, I said:
" If you got NO HELP within the coming two days, WHICH AM NOT EXPECTING..."
In other phrase it can be: " Am NOT EXPEXTING you to get NO help within two days " = "Am expecting you WILL get help within the coming two days !!!!
I guess you judged me quickly, surly i dont think anyone can get better helpful people than this place  |

Ok, it's clear now. That statement of yours is a bit ambiguous, at least for me, and I did take it personally, since I explicitly offered to help. I'm sorry too if I was a bit harsh to you  . |

I had a lovely person email me and give me step by step instructions on how to set it up, BUT there is still a problem

There were 13 Critical Errors...
The person helping me said to check for read/write/execute permissions on CuteFTP, and they were already all ticked, with Manual 777.
I am finding out on Monday exactly if the server will allow external file modification from an IP other than mine, is that what could be the problem? Or does someone know something else!

well i am finding out on monday if external file modification is allowed. is there any other permissions that need allowing apart from external file modification and read/write/execute permissions?

Oh, I also forgot to add, I am currently running Norton Systemworks (antivirus/firewall etc)... Would this have any affect at all on the problems i'm having?

| Most likely. There has been some concern when running forums with Norton antivirus installed. Search the forums and you will find the topics. IThere is some setting you have to change in the Norton Program. I do not remember exactly, try search. |
