For the life of me, I just can't troubleshoot the registration error I get after installing Active Users 4.017. I've installed it for the fifth time, following the instruction verbatimly. Everything checks out after I complete the "Check Installation" module. Everything looks good and seems to be in the right order.
However, upon conducting an account registration test (to ensure that users can still register to the site), after the 'User Agreement' page, I get this error message:
I've re-done the 'registration.asp' page to no avail. Can someone please help me out here? I might have to revert to my backup, once more, to back-rev (for the sixth time). I'm using v3.4.02

Do you have any other mods installed which modifies register.asp?
If you want to, you can mail me your register.asp and I will add the code for you? I've sent you an email.

When Nathan returns and has added the latest bug-fixes. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue when that is.

I've got that one fixed (just a carriage return on line 25). However, here's another error message that pops up.

That sounds like weird, as there is no code on line 25. I'll mail you the register.asp file again, but zipped this time, in case it got corrupted when I mailed it to you.

i think zipping it is a better idea... i've gone over a hundred 25 lines of codes fixing carriage returns...

As far as I know, there are only two bugs in 4.0.17. Fixes for these two have been posted earlier in this thread.
Bug: New member signing in isn't removed as guest - Bug-fix here
Bug: Popups for ICQ/AOL-IM/Yahoo/MSN - Fix here
If you had taken the time to read this topic, you would have found them.
