they don't run windows servers do they? I think this may be a chilisoft error. Can you check with them about that?

gsditullio,
Have a look at this article on the chilisoft page:
http://www.chilisoft.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=859
I would say his would be why. The 507 error is related to Chilisoft.

I sent my host a message but they don't support asp questions.
So are you saying that this issue with chilisoft is a server issue or could I have just missed something on setup. Putting the line in the wrong place?
thanks for your help www.victorysports.org/forum/default.asp |

From what I read, it is a server side issue with Chilisoft. There is a misconfiguration and needs to be re-installd again.

I Don't think the album will work with chillisoft anyway. I don't know anyone who has gotten it to work with it.

I bet this is more of an issue of how chilisoft handles (or doesn't handle) file objects since unix handles that differently than Win.

I got the following back from support
"It is now up and running, the chilisoft module was rebooted. We apologize for any inconvenience."
However I am still getting the same error.

One more time, No one has gotten this to work with chilisoft. I don't have the time right now to build out a linux box and install everything and then rewrite the code to make it work with chilisoft. So, with that said if you don't know anyone that can recode the app, or a kind soul steps up here, it won't get done anytime soon. I apologize for this but I did not claim to have tested with chiliasp, linux, or apatche on any platform.

gsditullio,
I would get your host to check it now, I think that you will find that the chilisoft module has died again. The files for the PhotoAlbum most likely cause the chilisoft to have a heart attack, thus why it doesn't run on chilisoft.

If I was you, I would take burthold's advice and either recode the files or wait for someone to recode them to work on chilisoft. Just a thought, and not using chilisoft myself, as I can not afford to pay for it, then that would be the best advise.
Edit: Sorry, left out a "r".. |

I have been playing with this Mod and it is nearly everything that i am after (apart from formating, but i can do that myself).
A few Questions/suggestions Tho: Is it possible to create more Categories at the Root. Example: Main Album, Second Album, Third Album. These can then be added to all the members lists (so when in single mode, all images that are uploaded to Second Album can be access from just one category - and images that are uploaded to Main Album and Third album are not shown).
Is it possible to have the number of images in the users folder to be diaplyed after their name? Example: rlesedai (4)
And while on this, how about an admin option that allows filtering (so if a member has no images, it does not get displayed in the list). Not everyone want to upload images.
Regards
Richard

I'm not sure what you mean by more categories at the root. You can make as many as you allow in the admin options 1 or 1000. If you display the number of photos by the user name that is another database call and or db modification to the existing structure. I don't know if its worth it for a seemingly cosmetic issue. If you don't want users names to show who don't have albums don't give them an album account. I may add an admin option to check and see if users have uploaded any files and if not allow you to remove their album in bulk kinda like the inactive users mod.
Be careful when you start playing with the formatting it can be much more complex than you realize. depending on the album mode whether you are an admin or not can effect what you see and how it is laid out. I have been sent several diffrent modifications to the album and the way it displays and all of them have had errors in some way shape or form. I am currently documenting the album so people that want to modify it more have a better chance of doing so without breaking something.
I am almost done fixing the last of the bug reports new files should be up later tonight or tomorrow.
