wes, have a look at photo_album_upload.asp, please. The missing (!?)include-inc_photo_functions_album.asp-entry at the top of this file causes hangups (type mismatch clr_spces, unclr_spaces).
Since errormessages are suppressed by the response.buffer=true, error-resume-next story in the same file, this is... ahm... not so good *g*
Wonder how it came into your distribution file in that version. Should never run, I'd say...? strange

Only effected the 3.4 files. the 3.3.x was fine. Thats why I didn't catch it.

No, I havent, but I am quite sure that it isn't because I have everything for nconvert configured correctly and it is not generating the thumbs. |

| nconvert.exe uses aspexec it is made by the same company that makes aspupload but it is free. When you say it isn't generating thumbs are you talking about tn_ files? |

For anyone having problems uploading files i.e. get file did not upload error or a ado error please download the photo_album_test_files.zip from http://www.wesworld.net/mods/Default.asp load the three files and send me an email. I may be onto a fix but need more data.

yes, the small thumbs. It displays "small" versions of the full size pics just fine. I would just like to keep from having all of those enormous files downloaded by every client who views the page...

Well, contact your host and see if they have any kind of acivex control to generate thumbails like aspjpeg. If they have a standard component that I can to an evail on I will see if I can add it as a feature to the album.

My user that requested the Mod be installed, LOVES it. He has some niggles about formatting, but I'll see to those.
The probs we still got (3.3 code) is deleting categories (With spaces).
One feature request is for the ability to rename a category.
But other than that, my chap is dead pleased. Uploading works a treat.

I'll check the deleting with spaces error as soon as my main box is back up. I didn't think about renaming categories, that should be an easy addition! What formatting changes does he want? I would love to see it when it is done. I don't have a good eye for pretty layouts and I don't do graphics at all but I love to code.

I am using itx design as my hosting service. I am not sure what other info you need. You would think I could install two lines...I guess not.
Your help would be appreciated Wes. I would love to have this mod on several sites that I run.
