I have a user currently using our Snitz Forum, this user has some problems with the "how Topics From * Days". The user can select another option, the page reloads to display the number of pages for the period selected however, the dropdown will revert back to 2 days. This will then create a problem when the user selects a page to display from the displayed pages, comes back with no messages found.
This has been a problem for about 6+ months, I have looked through much documentation to understand what could cause this. I can only assume it is a setting in his browser however, I am unable to nail down this problem.
He is currently using IE 6.0 on windows XP and also 98 (If I remember correctly).
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as stated above, its been an on going issue that needs some attention.

This sounds like the infamous reload issue. I've encountered it hundreds of times myself not just in my own forum, but all over the Internet.
The problem is that IE tends to load the page from the cache, not the most recent page. To correct this problem, the user must hit CTRL+R (I've given this info many times in my own forum) to reload the page.
Have you noticed a lot of your users posted the same message two or three times? It's probably because after they go back to that page, they don't see their post, and they think that it didn't go through. Same problem. CTRL+R will should take care of it.
I actually posted a question about this in these groups, but none of the fixes actually worked for me.
