Hey all I just installed the Ban IP Mod and I was curious how this works... Does it just ban the IP adress or the member as well? I banned a friend of mine, but I can still log in as him!!! Is this b/c I am at a different IP address?
If this is the case, is this the best way to do this? Or is there another MOD out there to ban both the Member and the IP?

The mod bans whoever connects to your forum using the IP you block. To block a member just lock his account.

Ok, that sounds good... One more question!!! If I were to delete a Member from my members list, are there any repurcusions that may occur do to intergrity rules since the member has made post in the forum.
IE - When you click on one of his or her past post and try to view their profile what would happen b/c the profile will no longer exist?

All that happens i that instead of seeing their username you will see "n/a" in their posts etc, their profile will still be there but again username replaced with "n/a", the other information should also be gone.

Their is a ban cookie mod I think

is there an update to the ban IP mod that extends the ammount of ips you can ban? i get "table is full" when i try to ban another member.
