Right listen up although most people like the subscription system in snitz I would like something different. The forums are really cool but I woundered if anyone has create the below:
When someone reply's to a post it automatically e-mail all that have posted on the topic [This is a very good feature for small communities]
or
when you reply, a little tick box to say that you would like to be notified when a reply has been posted.
People have posted me some URL's but no one has actually done the above [to my knowledge].
I think that if you implemented such a system on even a small community you had better have a big fat dedicated server behind it to crank out all those emails.
You may notice, we dont have subscriptions enabled here. Sending email takes alot of resources.
