I have been working on this from yesterday morning and while I am closer to the end, I keep getting this message after setup is sucessful and I go to forum

"Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80004005'

Operation must use an updateable query.

/forum/inc_functions.asp, line 717" I have my strconnstring like this............

"strConnString = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source="& server.mappath("/")+"/../databases/snitz_forums_2000.mdb" '## MS Access 2000"
Can someone please tell me what is wrong here? I have read every thing that has to do with Snitz setup and I have been going back and forth with my web host support. I have very little hair left to pull! Thank You, tek

I found the solution to my problem on another post...I had to remove the snitz db file and then re-upload it and wala!! my forum is up! The red you asked about is what the server host told me to add in my
strConnString and it worked. No more error message. Thanks for the help. tek
