Firstly, excellent work on the forums, it's great, it has really attracted alot of visitors to my site. I highly recommend this organisation to everyone.

Just a few things i need some help with:

1: My "rank & stars" option isn't working properly, the only options that work are "none" or "rank" the other 2 ("rank & stars" and "stars") are not working, it has a space where the stars are supose to be, but the images don;t load.

2: How can i have it so that when people are logged in, it has "You are logged on as" in normal font, and have "username" in bold? (like you do on this site.)

3: Is it posible to have a "Active users" or not?

Cheers

Firstly what version are you using exactly?

The "Your are logged on as UserName" thing is standard in v3.3.03 (The Current Release version) and the code for this should be in inc_top.asp

Active Users is a viable possibility, I recommend Active Users v4.0 by Nathan Bales which I think is still available from the Snitz exchange: http://www.ls3k.com/snitz/

Your forum looks pretty good to me.

My name shows up when I'm logged in fine, so unless you've fixed it then I really can't see anything wrong there.

Stars will not show up until the member has achieved the required number of posts for each rank. Unless you've set that value to 0 then no-one will have any stars show up for a while.

Active Users you will need to download and install the mod for it

Pity Skaifey's not a Kiwi really, hes a pretty good driver

What about the other stuff? such as the print link at the bottom of the post pages, that's not there either.

I just fixed the name thng, it was because the font was set to just "Arial" instead of "Verdana, Arial, Helvetica"

Go into the Admin Settings, and in the Email Server Configuration enable email mode, you'll need to find out what email objects your host server supports also, but this can be found out by running the testemailcomponent.asp file which should be located in your /forum directory.

Somone here who uses brinkster might be able to help you with that too.

I want to have the email to friend link & the print link at the bottom of the posts. It isn't there on mine, tell me what i need to configure and what i need to set them to. And also, with the email mode setting, the "on" option is disabled, i can't change it.

There are no options to select from in that box. It says: "No compatible component found"

Then your server is not capable of sending email.

If you own the server, you can install a client such as aspemail.com

He's on Brinkster's Free Hosting, they don't provide an e-mail component on their free hosting plans.
