I get this error message when trying to get to my forum:

error '80029c84'
Circular dependency between types/modules.
/forum/inc_top.asp, line 74

anyone know what this means?

You must have changed something in the code to be able to get one of those. What version is your forum and what changes have you made?

Please post a link to a text version of your inc_top.asp.

while I was sorting out the text link, the forum appeared again..
do you think this is a host/server issue? It keeps disappearing and appearing again?

Your inc_top.asp looks Ok to me, no other includes, I'd say this looks very much a server issue.
