All the categories and all the forums but one are limited to our membership. I've removed all references to registration and written code to ensure that everyone in our membership database is also in the forum database and vice versa. Now, I'd like to allow visitors to our site to have read and post access to one public foum set up for that purpose. Can I do this?
You can setup a dummy account and allow them to use that to post thier messages and browse your forum. You could set the forum that you only want them to access by setting it to All Visitors and setting the other forums that you don't want them to access, by selecting the members you only want to access those forums.

I thought about the dummy account, but while I can't expect to know who posts what, I'd at least like to be able to distinguish between visitors. Is a dummy account the only way? Can i suggest for the next version a forum status that will allow all posts? It looks like I might have to modify the program to allow this - unless you have another sugestion?
