I'm looking for a sub that will allow me to include into a page the first 100 chars or so from each of the topics in a given forum.. with a link at the end of it to jump directly to the forum.asp?FORUM_ID the topic belongs to.. something like:

04/27/2002
What are your feelings toward... [more]

and [more] would be a link to the forum page..

Anything like that out there?

Sounds like you are looking for either the Slash mod or syndication mod which can be downloaded at the snitz exchange and www.snitz.info respecifvly.

They function slightly different, but I have never used either.

Thanks.. Syndicate was close to what I wanted and I was able to modify it to make it do what I am looking for (almost, not quite there yet)..
