I would not advise using it, it has some serious bugs. The MOD was never completed as the code was integrated into the base Snitz code.

Hi HuwR !

Thanks you

What can I do now ? - I use the 3.1 SR4 and there are more then 10.000 posts in the Database. I´ve also added some mods.
How can I update the Forum to a higher Version, where the Archive Function is build in ?

Thanks for your Answer

It's really simple. Just keep a backup copy of your current database, download the latest version code, change config.asp to point to your old database, run setup.asp and when asked to upgrade the database, just accept that and the database will be upgraded.
It's as simple as that.

Yes, you'll definitely need to add your mods to the new software version. In principle I don't see many problems with that, provided that the mods are the same version as you have now, or that they can also upgrade the database structure, if that update is necessary. You'll need to be careful and analyse each mod to see if you need a new version for the mod code, if that new version needs changes to the previous version structure and if the mod setup can take care of that.
