Sorry if this has been posted before. (I did the search and couldn't find anything)
I have Snitz version 3.3.03 running on Windows 2000/IIS 5 using SQL 7 for the database. The forum is located on an intranet.
I have downloaded the Events Calender MOD and extracted all files to the /forum directory on my server. When I login as an Admin, and seclect MOD Setup (admin_mod_dbsetup.asp) There are no files listed in the drop-down box to create the needed database on my sever. I have double-checked, and events.dbs does exist in the forum root.
Is there a way to force the admin page to see this dbs file? Or is it easier to create the table manually using Enterprise Manager? I have looked at the dbs file, and am not 100% sure what the fieldnames/datatypes/field widths need to be. If somone could provide that info I can just manually create the table.
Thanks in advance for any help. (and sorry if I'm asking a stupid question)

Ok, 50% stupid.. I re-read the readme for the 100th time, and saw that I need to use the included mod_dbsetup.asp to setup the MOD.
So.. when I load the mod_dbsetup.asp, I get an HTTP 5000 - Internal Server error...
Ideas?

Ok.. this is kinda neat, a self help forum. Post a question, wait long enough, and figure it out on your own.
What I found that I needed to do was open eventstable_setup.asp to create the DB, and from then on in, everything worked, with the exception being that the changes I had to make to inc_top.asp and default.asp didn't really look like what was in the readme file.
If nothing else, it's a learning experience!
