It was a mod by Huw a while back that was designed to keep track of mod versioning and database changes ect. It never really 'caught on' outside of his portal though.

Actually it did. That is what was used before our MOD Setup page that we have in our current version. It was used to help installing mods a bit easier. A table was displayed below the Admin options and showed a link to the documentation for each mod that was installed (if provided), the author, the author's email (if provided), the version of the mod and a link to the setup file and readme file for that mod.

Most users used it with thier mods for the 3.1 SR4 version.

It was not a mod by me at all, it was written by animedj, and what it did was provide the FORUM_MODS table which I use to store all my mod settings.
