how wouldi make it so that a user could upload a image to a FOLDER and the have the script add the link to the image in the databasE?
ie:
upload ie.gif to folder /temp
add to db /temp/ie.gif
with a new id #

something like the file upload mod... which - i believe according to Huwr - does no longer exist.

that is, not in some file library. but maybe someone here has got a copy of it lying around somewhere...

you could always use something easy like aspupload or or softartisans asp upload. Or, you could write your own script using the FSO.

If you do a search there is code availble on the web for ASP upload that is not associated with an installed componant. I use such a script at the snitz exchange.
