That`s cool. Will test it, as soon as I could reach my server.

I just updated the zip because I left a file out

And FYI: it doesn't work with the RTE.

Demo: http://www.frutzle.com/forum/ only during the next 7 days after this post!

I like my RTE and won't let the highlighter ruin it

Have fun, don't overload my forums. Only post in the Testing forum which I made for it!

Is this for highlighting code in a post? Does it work in the preview of the post?

I don't think it works in the preview. You can give it a try on my forums though

<edit> By the way, yes it's used for highlighting codes. Colors are configurable in the Admin Options. </edit>

Not currently. . . I think it would be a one line addition though.

Roland, do you a different color set for everything? Or are come of the values the same? (Specifically, delimiters and strings.)

Way to go Nathan! Pretty nifty mod.

Suggestions (take 'em or leave 'em):
1. Make the function color only apply to the function and end function statements. That way debugging within the function is easier.
2. Make an admin option to automatically include highlighting when someone uses the forum code [ code] tags.

Ok, I updated the zip with a one line addition to inc_top_short.asp that will make hilights work in prieviews.

The function color hilights functions like cInt and cLng and that kinda stuff. "function" and "end function" are keywords.

Are you sure? I don't see any difference in certain pieces of code. Take a look at the test posts I made.

Hey frutz theres an error in your pop_password.asp file. Was trying to login but had forgotten password. Just another idea also, you have members.asp set so you must be logged in to view, might be an idea to exclude that page so idiots like me can check it to see what name I registered under originally :)

Make some of the background colors different too, just to see what that looks like.
