Hi all.
I would like yo suggest that we lock/close this workgroup:Japanese for a current effort, as lang1041 (Shift-JIS) has passed V4.03.003 compatibility test and further fixes/changes made in Japanese. A "final version" was submitted to Bozden.
I am not clear whether there would be a central depository of all langXXXX files (which I believe is good to have), but for a current version of LANG1041 is avaialble at:

I'll lock & archive all pre v4b04 workgroups and open new ones when v3.4 is out. Until this time please keep it going  ...

Sure thing, Bozden. Will check any new changes you may be incorporating in future versions.... (at least not this week, as I will be a volunteer at WWW2002 conf here)

Thanks for updating info on LCID:1041. I decided to turn off Shift-JIS forum and convert it into a utf-8 forum, strictly for a personal usage.
Shift-JIS Lang1041 V4b03003 compatible is available, however. Only i2Asia will be used to test/deploy V4.x (albeit with Unicode) for now.
I have placed the following LCID:1041 language packs at i2Asia:
(1) V4b03003 compatible Lang1041 (both Shift-JIS and UTF8 formats, and UTF8 only)
(2) Active User V4.05 compatible 1041 Japanese lang file (UTF8 format)
(3) Events Calender V2rs1/V4.x compatible (Apha Version) compatible 1041 lang file (UTF8) (I believe there is no different in lang file for these)

A little update on the existing language packs for Japanese (LANG1041) for the current V4b03004 beta.
Lang1041 pack (V4b03.003 compatible, UTF-8 and Shift-JIS) is reloaded to i2AsiaForum. People who are interested in Lang1041 for V4b03xxx, registration is required to download, however.
i2AsiaForum
Goto Going Multilingual and japanese Language Packs to download either Lang1041UTF8 unicode version or Lang1041 Shift-JIS ISO version.
I may not be able to provide any direct support for installing multilingual Snitz V4b03xxxx in unicode any longer from this Forum, but i2AsiaForum will remain in 4 language unicode V4bx in English, Japanese, and Chinese (2). Forum has applied the latest patch 005.
