Hi,
I managed to mess up my forum (sigh) and so deleted all files and cleared the db of anything snitz-related.
Now when I try to reinstall snitz, I get the error:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e37'
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'FORUM_MEMBERS'.
/forum/setup_login.asp, line 75
I don't understand what this means. Can someone please help me out?
Thanks a lot, Sean

Thanks a lot, Richard that worked great .
Unfortunately I now have a new problem. None of the admin images (icon_folder_new_topic.gif, for example) are showing up so I can't add any categories. It's in the code and it's in the forum directory on my server.
Any idea why the images aren't showing?
Thanks, Sean

Are you getting broken images or just none at all?
Example of a broken image:

Can you provide a link to your forum? Is the Admin username/password still Admin/admin ? |

You don't have anywhere to login to the forum from, at least I couldn't find it. Logging into admin_login.asp only sets the Session Cookie for access to the Admin pages, it doesn't set the forum cookie that is necessary to actually login to the forum. |

You can go ahead and change your Admin password also, so no one can mess up anything. |

If you put that nice header into inc_top.asp and the footer part into inc_footer.asp, then they will appear on all pages. Rather than just on the default.asp.

Jeez...yep, that was it!
I thought that logging in at admin_login.asp was enough...sorry, Richard!!!
The reason I took off the login area is because I want the user to login from anywhere on the site, not just in the forum area.
Thanks so much for your help and really fast replies! I promise as soon as I get a job I will make a donation to you guys. The service (to say nothing of the forum itself) is really wonderful at Snitz.

Nathan...yeah I know, hehe
I had done that before I had to reinstall everything... so I'm in the process of doing it all again. Thanks for the tip, tho!
