Hi
When I change the password for "Admin" there is no problem, but then when I try to logon as "Admin" and my new password, it says that I´m logged on succesfully, but then it returns to the main forum site WITHOUT havin "Admin" logged in. So I can´t use another password than the default
Please help me.

I know.
But then when I write the new password it says that I´m "succesfully logged in", but then it doesn´t say in the top right corner that "You are logged on as Admin". It only says "you are loggen on as Admin" when I use "admin" as password

that sounds like the same thing, meaning you are indeed logged on...

Do a little test here:
register to your own forums and then login as admin. Go to the members page (members.asp) and edit the new user's profile and put him (yourself) at Administrator Level (on members.asp you click on the icon and then on the profile editing page you use the select list to make the new user an Admin). Then logout as admin and login as the new user.

Does that work? If it does, lock the original Admin user and continue to use your new username.

I have made a new member and put him (my self) on administrator level.
First of all. When I´m logged on as "Admin" I can´t logoff. When I push "log off" it says that I succesfully loffed off, but then it returns to the forum with "Admin" still logged on.
Then I have to change the password for "Admin" to avoid that Admin is logged on. Then when I want to log on whith the new profile I write the username and password, and then it says that I´m "succesfully logged on", but then it returns to the log on page WITHOUT having my new profile logged on.
Please help me, I´m desperate

It's a cookie problem.
What is the link to your forum?

Could you provide the URL to your forums?

Also, I read about something like this before and it had to do with uppercase letters used in the URL but lowercase letters in the cookie (or the other way around).

It's because you are using frames. The cookie thinks you are logging in from http://www.larsemil.dk/. But you are actually logging into the forum at http://www.larsemil.dk/forum/.

Try this:
Go directly to http://www.larsemil.dk/forum/admin_home.asp. Type in your admin username and password. Go to Main Configuration and select Website for the Set Cookie To: option. And save it.

Then go back to your default page, with the frame at the top. Try logigng in again. If it doesn't work, try deleting your cookies and clearing out your Cache. Then try again.

ok
Even when I´m in http://www.larsemil.dk/forum/admin_home.asp. and I type the username and password it says that I´m succesfully logged on, but then it returns to the page without saying "You are logged on as Admin". I wouldn´t like to have to delete my cookies. Is there another way.
Should I make my website without frames? Is frames bad to have on your website, is there another way to make my website with the same design, but without frames?

No, that's not what I meant.
And there is nothing wrong in deleting your cookies. They are totally safe to delete.

Send me your admin username and password and I'll have a look at it for you.
