I don't understand you. The forum doesn't allow users to use those characters in thier username or email address. So they can't use those characters when using the Forgot your Password option.
Yes i know but i run a CS Clan where our tag is [DISA] when a member have register as a new user ex. Jumpman i chance the name from the members.asp (Edit member) then on the pop_profile.asp i chance the user name field to ex. [DISA]Jumpman but when a member forgot his password he can get it becourse i have chance the name to ex. [DISA]Jumpman then he get this message:
There Was A Problem With Your Email
You may not use any of these chars in your username !#$%^&*()=+{}[]|\;:/?<,>
In the pop_pword.asp i want to allow members to use !#$%^&*()=+{}[]|\;:/?<,> only this file
This problem i have fix i have remove the []|: from the inc_function.asp but now all can sign up whit []|: and that is not good hope you understand me

What about send an email to the members when i chance some of his information there will say admin has edit your username from jumpman to [DISA]Jumpman so the member know his username has chance ???
