The colors used in Snitz are reserved words such as
red blue green
that sort of thing.

You shouldn't need to convert those at all.
What could be done is to use the #whatever value for the default colors instead. That would fix problems with Opera browsers.

You are right, but i think he is only talking about the dropdown list eg. post.asp or country list when you register yourself at the forum.
I´m right Rasco?

Yes, that`s what I mean, Kirgy. I know we can`t change the colours inside the code. They`re standardsized. But they haven`t shown up in the lang file and so aren`t translated into the respective language. The same for the country names.< |

The colors will be done next. After the server crash, a lot of info was lost and people were continuing downloding v40b02, without any access to the patches. I just released v40b03 as the current status (=v40b022patch004), without having the chance to add more solutions.
In the next release (I hope =final release v4.0f), I'll also add a solution for date-time related strings.
I do not consider changing ALL country names, but they will be included in the LangNNNN.asp file, so that one can change their country name easily. It will be a bit confusing to change the names of other countries, because in a mainly Turkish but alternative English forum, a person from Germany will not understand what "Almanya" means (translation of Germany).

Looks like a good list of "ToDo" before V4f. The mail link in the FAQ should also be involved with this.

Good idea. I change the subject from "Colours and Countrys?" to "WISHLIST: Colours and Countrys and others..."
I also add LangNNNN.asp support for R2L (Arabic) and L2R (most others).

Maybe you can provide a translation for the countries: XXX YYY where XXX = name of the country in the translated language YYY = name of the country in English
eg. België - Belgium Almanya - Turky
And a parameter to say which one you want to appear first in the dropdown. Just a thought.

Current status:
Colours: Done in v4b03.x Countries: Planned for v4b04 (not all but "the default country" will be translated, others in English) - Locale names will appear in the selector.
You are welcome to post any more suggestions in this topic for v4b04...
