Hello all,
I see that this board has had trouble. I'm hoping that I can ask a question in this thread. I am a new member. I would like to ask some questions about the board. I downloaded my first board yesterday and all is well except that when my first member tried to delete his post it would not delete.
All I know is that when you press the delete icon beside the members post...a screen appears with a name and password and a send button. When you press the send button to delete the post (I'm presuming that you press the send button), nothing happens. The post is not deleted.
As the Admin, I cannot delete the post either. Can someone help me?

Glad to see things are up again. Looks like the last day recovered is Sept 2, so about a month or so was lost...that's too bad. Must have been quite a catastrophic failure to not have more recent backups.
Glad we're back on-line!

Oh, and I lost about 700 posts.

Hi everyone,
Basically the server died, and with no backups, we had to rely on a copy of the db that gor had on his server at home, hence the reason for the loss of data. The new server is being backed up every day, so hopefully we should not have such a problem in the future.
(I didn't lose any posts as I have been away for 2 months anyway atleast now I have a better chance of catching up with Richard)
