Hey, check this out!!

I just saw this posted on ASPToday and it's a FREE article!!

Developing a Content Management System Using a Browser-Embedded HTML Editor
http://www.asptoday.com/content/articles/20010827.asp

To download the code, find the link at the bottom of the page "Download the support material for this Article".

ABSTRACT
Adding HTML editing capabilities to a content management system is a hassle, as the most of these systems consist of forms, which cannot handle rich text inputs. Until recently, users were required to place some sort of HTML formatting tags while typing their content in. Creating an online content management system with powerful HTML editing capabilities has been a dream of many developers for years. In this article, Ozan Akiman demonstrates how such a system can be developed using ASP and a third party browser-embedded WYSIWYG editor called EditLive!. With this tool, any user capable of using word processing software can create HTML documents on the fly without having any HTML knowledge.

So...anybody up for adding in Snitz code?

How does this compare to some of the Content Management systems and the article code found in the Portal systems? I haven't used any of the mods nor have tried out the ASPToday code (yet). I'd like to hear from anyone who has!

looks really cool...I´d definately pay the 80 bucks, if it was integrated into snitz, but couldn´t it possibly use another java-based wysiwyg editor? - I think to remember that I´ve seen a couple of those around

A friend of mine who uses Snitz forums uses this editor... He developed an article mod and content display mod (both personal use) and integrated the editor with them. According to him, it works pretty good -- a few idiosyncracies, but not bad at all...

Cheers!
