**** SF2000 INTERNATIONAL VERSION - ALPHA #2 **** **** THIS IS JUST A TEST VERSION - THERE ARE NO DOWNLOADS ****
Although its not a real release, the alpha version has to be checked somehow. I invite everybody to subscribe and examine the forums in the link given below. The forums include English (default) and Turkish (selectable) languages. Also included are some guidelines about the topic. To keep the traffic away from this site I put it under a site I prepare.
LINK: http://www.istanbulmuzesi.org/forum33_02int
Additional Notes: * The Status of the Internationalization Process can be found here. * The guidelines (+FAQ, Readme, other related Documentation) for internationalization will be prepared online on the temporary site and published later. Visit the related topics on the site to get information. * The version is based on v3.3_02 (no latest hotfixes)

Hello all,
Sorry I disapeared from the Snitz board. I had too many personal problems do discribe here, ranging from surgery to the loss of dear friends. Long story short, I am back to translate to Brazilian Portuguese. I have completed about 70% of the language file I once downloaded and should complete it tomorrow, taking advantage of a the holiday.
As I understand, Hélio is translating to Portuguese for Portugal?
Sorry once again and I'll be back tomorrow.
Cheers

I will setup my forum tonight and hopefully have it all setup for tomorrow. In case anyone wants to check it out.
Cheers

Is there any way I can use the Brazilian Portuguese version? I am implementing the forum on a website for Brazilian Portuguese and English speaking users.
Cheers,
Harold

Hello Harold,
I haven't gotten an answer from the board people yet, but I believe (I am a new user, too) that it would be enought for me to send you the lang1046.asp file that has been translated.
Note that this is a *beta* translation and there might (and probably are) many mistakes. I will be reviewing it constantly, I have even created a topic for people using the board to inform me of translation slips, so use it at your own risk.
Of course, if you contribute to it, these contributions will be welcome.
So tell me where to send it or if I should just have it somewhere for you to download.
By the way, what's the URL of your site? I run a diabetes site in Brazil and it might be interesting to swap banners of something.
Cheers...

Hi Aecio,
Thanks for the reply. It would be great if you could send me the translated file.
The organisation's url is www.carfweb.net. It's a charity to help street children in the Zona Sul of Sao Paulo. The site has nothing but an under-construction page on it now, but will be a fully dynamic information resource on all things related to children's rights..... Might take a while!! By the way, the design of the opening page is not mine. I am doing my best to convince the guilty party that his taste leaves something to be desired (imho). What's your site's url?
Anyway, I'll check it as much as my rather broken Portuguese allows me and then mail any changes back to you.
Kind regards,
Harold harold_broese@hotmail.com

Hello,
I'm sorry hearing you had some health problems. Usually I do not monitor specific workgroups, because they usually use their own language.
If the language file is a beta version, please make sure you filled the initial part with necessary version specific info. You may like to make it downloadable, to share it with others to check (quality control). If you have no such facility, I can do it for you.
After some time, I'll ask all of the workgroups to form a package of 1 language file and 4 gif files and send me by e-mail. These will be included in one of the patches (maybe patch002 or 3).
Cheers

Hi everyone!
Seems the Portuguese version became more popular than I thought!!!
To avoid having to send the language file to each and everyone through e-mail, here is the link to the file in text version (just rename as .asp). I will redo the graphics and then make it all available in a zip file this weekend.
Bozden, I did find some bugs I posted on the forum relating to language file includes.
here is the link: http://iad.no-ip.com/forum/lang1046.txt and it will be available as of tomorrow 12:00h Brasilia time (about 5 am California time).
Cheers!!!

Sorry for the inconvenience if anyone tried to download the portuguese translation.
Well, here's the real link to a zip file with (ugly) buttons and language file. I will make new graphics and finish some lines a friend pointed out were not translated (must have slept on the keyboard) this weekend, so a new revised version should be out by Monday.

Cheers!

Você poderia me dar uma dica?

Cheers
