Richard, I saw the post you mentioned on the Mir board, and it doesn't mean that it works, as I am able to post new topics with no trouble. I cannot however REPLY to messages.

The last time I visited this forum I took your advice and unchecked 'save password' and was able to log in, this time I did the same, and was logged in successfully, then sent back to the login prompt.

As I have stated before, this is not only on my computer, but on those of two separate friends as well. They also run Win2k Pro, and cannot log into the forums.

As I have also stated before, my date and time settings are correct, and just to be sure I double checked them, they are fine, the issue is not with the date/time settings.

The only thing I can think of is that it must have something to do with a security setting, but I can't for the life of me think of which one. Like I said before, we just recently installed Win2k Pro, so there is a possibility of a default setting that we aren't aware of, if you have any idea what it might be I'd appreciate the help.

Down at the bottom right of the Internet Explorer window, double click where it says Internet, that will bring up IE's Security Settings.

Try setting it to low and see if that helps.

What version of IE are you using?

btw, I just tried replying at the Mir Landing site and was able to....

Can you try this:

on that other site, start a new topic and then paste this:

into the message area and then click on preview (no need to submit the message). It takes a few seconds but eventually another window will popup and it should have your cookie information in it.

If you do get any info, can you copy it and e-mail it to me here: richard_kinser@yahoo.com
