I just downloaded and unzipped the programs, and uploaded the mdp and asp files to my cgi-directory and cannot get anything to work right. The readme file doesn't help me much.
When I use my html editor and preview what I did and click on the link, it will take me to a word pad version of the program and not the forum. I dunno how to fix this.

what's it NOT doing? can you display part of the forum at all? does your ISP support ASP? Does the cgi-bin have read/write permissions because some cgi-bin's only have read/execute writes.

Not sure. I use Tripod, but it happens when I preview my html and click on the link, its not for public or up on Tripod yet, just using my webtool designer to preview it.

This forum uses ASP (Active Server Pages) files. To be able to use them you need a webserver that supports ASP. Unfortunately, Tripod does not. To preview the pages on your own computer would require that you have an ASP Webserver running on your computer as well (such as Personal Web Server or IIS).
