I use AvantGo quite a bit on my PDA. Perhaps someone could make a mod that would put forum content on a user's pda. Here's my thoughts.
I realize that a user wouldn't really be able to interact with a forum or a topic and browse through the whole forum using AvantGo but here's an idea.
If you know how AvantGo works, you'll be able to understand what I'm saying. On the AvantGo web site each user would create a channel with a url of http://forum.snitz.com/forum/avantgo.asp?username=Bookie (for me). Then, on the forum site, I would setup my parameters for what I would want displayed on my pda.
On the setup side, each user on the forum would establish...
* what topics would be displayed
* how many posts from those topics
* posts from certain users
* topics from certain categories
* whatever
There are a lot of possibilities. It may be similar to Rob Poretti's Display Content Mod except each user would establish the parameters for what he would want displayed.
Am I making any sense? I can see where in some forums where this wouldn't work well because of the nature of the forum. Others it would work quite nicely.
