Sorry to bother you, but I have searched everywhere and have found improvements to the original, which I cannot find

out of interest is there now a download whihc will allow the users to select an avatar themselves, or do they still have to be assigned to them by the Admin?

I meant is there a download which allows users to select an avatar which will appear under their name every time they post, or has this feature already been implemented
Rather than the Admin having to assign avatars to different users, is there a download through which users can select one to use for themselves

This mod allows both admin assigned and user assigned avatars. The admin can reserve an avatar for a specific user otherwise the avatars that are available are available to the general membership.

Can someone check out: forums.cheatlist.com it's also snitz, and I wanna know how that users will choose their images, but not upload to the DB, because it's just takes extra space ;D

| With the Avatar MOD, there is no uploading. The Admin just puts in links to Avatars and the Members can choose them from a dropdown box in the edit profile screen, or when they register. The addon for users just makes the same thing available for users. Again, no uploading is involved. |

right i think i get it now
so on the original only admin can add avatars i take it, but on the newer version users can also do this?
Can users choose which avatar they wish to use from the selection on both versions

If it's a member supplied link to an avatar, that member is the only one that can use it because that link is applied to their ID only. If it's an Admin supplied avatar and it wasn't reserved for a particular member, then yes all can use that same avatar.
