it's been almost 2 weeks-that i'm trying to install the forum. i put the forum files at www.phidji.com my sie adress is http://zeged.phidji.com and the forum sits on dirctory : aviv/aviv. what path shuold i writ in the config file?
Go to the link below and download the "Where am I" file. Run it from your database folder and it will give you the exact path to enter in your config.asp file.
how do you change file permissions...i'm having trouble using an ftp program to do it. i uploaded my files and i think i know how to setup the config file but i'm not sure how to get to my site.
yeah i'm trying to setup another one on phidji rather than brinkster now.
but thanks for the info on the permissions i'll try and work on figuring out phidji some more...must be missing some little part. if anyone has a forum on phidji already, maybe you could lemme know and gimme a little outline on how you set it up to work on phidji. mine just keeps buggin me with errors and asking me to login or something.
