I'm integrating my forums into an existing web site. I've figured out how to combine my database with the Snitz database, using Access Queries.
The issue I've run into is I have more User Levels than Snitz allows. I've got the Admin (me), Members (actual members of our organization), and Visitors/Non-Members (people who aren't organization members per-se, but do communicate with us).
Problem is, Snitz doesn't support this. I want to be able to make forums that Non-Members can't see. I don't want to use user lists, because I want to be able to add members without worrying that they aren't on the user lists for the private forums.
I can easily make all Members "Moderator" level(M_LEVEL=2), but again, Snitz doesn't have an option for Moderator Only forums.
Is there an easy way to do what I need to do? Either by adding an additional level, or possibly an easy way to create Moderator Only forums?
Also, I apologize up front if this is the wrong place to post this, as I don't see a better place.
