Posted - 23 June 2001 : 03:08:21 can you go here and see if you can get anything to work, and if you can't and it asks you to d/l dl the ones that really matter and see if anything is wrong(Like in the config.asp and whatever else)?

Posted - 23 June 2001 : 03:05:11 Just having Internet Explorer on your computer is not enough. PWS does work on Windows95, but I am not sure if it came on the Install CD or not. You can download it, but I don't remember the link right now. I'll look for it and post a link if I can find it.< |

Posted - 23 June 2001 : 02:49:02 PWS = Personal Web Server. If you are using Windows98 or Windows98SE it came on the Install CD.< |

Posted - 23 June 2001 : 02:27:52 The only way to get it to work on your own computer is to be running a webserver like IIS4 on WindowsNT, IIS5 on Windows2000 or PWS on Win95/Win98/WinME.< |

Posted - 23 June 2001 : 00:37:25 Do you have a webserver running on your computer? If so, does it support ASP (Active Server Pages)? It sounds like it doesn't.< |

Posted - 23 June 2001 : 00:22:05 So basically it won't install, i guess, cause I can't get it open to login as the admin and change stuff... I thought if I had some other default then it would work, but all the other pages would work either, all that happened when those were pushed was the d/l box poped up again..

Posted - 22 June 2001 : 23:59:15 Since my forum was acting up... I have looked at others and viewed sorce and what not trying to figure it out... and offline others default pages work fine, when I try mine nothing happens except a d/l box comes up and disappears if im offline....
