your webserver or webhost must support ASP (Active Server Pages) to use Snitz Forums 2000.< |

So basically it won't install, i guess, cause I can't get it open to login as the admin and change stuff... I thought if I had some other default then it would work, but all the other pages would work either, all that happened when those were pushed was the d/l box poped up again..

Do you have a webserver running on your computer? If so, does it support ASP (Active Server Pages)? It sounds like it doesn't.< |

The only way to get it to work on your own computer is to be running a webserver like IIS4 on WindowsNT, IIS5 on Windows2000 or PWS on Win95/Win98/WinME.< |

PWS = Personal Web Server. If you are using Windows98 or Windows98SE it came on the Install CD.< |

Just having Internet Explorer on your computer is not enough. PWS does work on Windows95, but I am not sure if it came on the Install CD or not. You can download it, but I don't remember the link right now. I'll look for it and post a link if I can find it.< |

can you go here and see if you can get anything to work, and if you can't and it asks you to d/l dl the ones that really matter and see if anything is wrong(Like in the config.asp and whatever else)?
