Get a copy of the mod here: SnitzBitz. You're going to want the first and third files on the page. Install the 0.2.2 beta file before integrating the updates from the third file.

The sub-forum mod allows you to add one additional level of forums below the main level. Example category:

Category:  Default
   Forum:  General Talk
   Forum:  Information Technology
      Sub-Forum:  Databases
      Sub-Forum:  Hardware
      Sub-Forum:  Anti-Virus
   Forum:  Current Events
      Sub-Forum:  Politics
      Sub-Forum:  Crime (if that's not the same as "politics")

You can add more than one sub-forum to each forum, but only one level of sub-forums below each forum. See the example above.

Sure you can. Click the sub-forum, then you should be able to delete or edit it.

I'm not sure just what you're saying, but I THINK you have an issue with sub-forum appearance as compared to forum appearance. Not sure why, precisely, because the same variables are used for each.
