Can anyone recomend a good webpage design software? I have been using Coffee Cup's software and I'm not that impressed. I would like to use Dreamweaver but it's so darn expensive. I would really like a GOOD, RELIABLE, CHEAP software.....if such a one exists.....< |

Instead of upgrading my aging copy of Dreamweaver MX (which has been crashing and locking up more and more frequently these days), I've switched to Notepad ++. I don't like the integrated FTP client, but I can live with using a separate FTP program again.< |

I have been using UltraEdit since coming to my new job back in November, and it is *wonderful*. Code folding, syntax highlighting, tons of features, built in FTP, etc.
I used to use Notepad++ and Araneae, and still use them from time to time, but sprung for a license of UE for myself after getting hooked.
They have a 45 day trial to test it out and get addicted. I think the licenses are relatively cheap (<$50).< |

What's really made Notepad ++ a sell for me is I can keep a porable version on my flash drive - allowing me to essentially take my dev environment with me to any Windows-based PC. < |
