Hey all, I am a member of another Snitz based forum and in some threads there are ads. These are ads, with graphics, that the forum owner places and not Adsense, Amazon, or others.
Is there a MOD to do this?
Thanks,
chuck

Somebody wrote some code a while back to insert an ad every x posts. Some searching should be able to turn it up.< |

Are you looking for what I have on my forum: http://www.schoolofduel.com/bbs/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=30375
Basically, do you want a specific ad place under the initial post?< |

To tell you the truth, I'm not quite sure. The previous owners added that there so I haven't really looked into it. I'll check it out though and get back to you.< |

I have searched and have not been able to find this - but it is exactly what I'm looking for.
CalloftheHauntedMaster: What I'm looking for are not google, adsense etc but ads that I choose to insert every "x" amount of posts
Thanks guys - still looking!

Can't seem to find it at the moment... might have something to do with just waking up. I'll check again in a bit.< |

Thanks all - that link does point to a thread but the code doesn't appear to work. Anyone got other ideas or MODS to look at?
Thanks,

Did you read the whole topic?

Search is your friend “I was having a mildly paranoid day, mostly due to the fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.” |

What is it that isn't working??? Are you getting an error? Is it not showing up where you are expecting it? When you say "the code doesn't work" what do you mean?< |

No error's, just nothing shows up where the ad should go.

And you created your own ad code, correct? The code in the link assumes that you've already done that...
got a *.txt link to what you've put together?< |
