Cool. Last I'd heard it wasn't publicly available yet. I'll have to check it out.<

Just installed it at home, thanks for the tip! I love tabbed browsing.
I wish it worked with W2K so I could install it at work too. :(<

Looks a lot like Firefox to me. How's the stability, is anyone using it on there computer at the moment or is it too early?<

I have it installed. Seems pretty stable... but uses too much memory. And to be true, I like the new interface and such, but it still lacks a lot of functionality already available with Maxthon, while using a whole lot of more memory!<

It seems browsers nowadays do use quite a bit of memory. Firefox uses up about 50 - 150 mb of my 256 mb memory, depending on how many tabs open, the type of content you viewing and how long you been using it.

Not sure about Opera though.<

Well I find 50-75MB too much for a browser. I compared Maxthon and IE with the same 3 or 4 tabs, and IE used 75 MB vs. 10 MB for Maxthon. And Maxthon is IE based...
New IE interface is neat, and there is a feature that shows you kinda thumbnail of all your tabs, but that was the single advantage I saw over Maxthon (phishing filter was not working, but it won't be important to me, I won't be phished, ever ).

Surely it will be streamlined, but it will be a RAM eater...<

downloaded and tested it, if you are using windows blind there's oddities and transparancy in it around the address bar and the buttons next to the tabbing, in normal windows without window blinds it looks fine.<

I downloaded it this afternoon and used it for a couple of hours.

Every time I tried to save a log-on for a site, it crashed. Other than that I really liked it. The look and feel is better, I liked the tabbed browsing, and pages seem to load a little quicker.<

Here's a weird little quirk using the MSWC.BrowserType server side object to detect browser type... IE7 reports back the following:

Platform: Netscape
Version: 4.00<
