UPDATE: Dynamic | Allow Uploading to Category A, B, C, etc - Allows Admins to control if users can upload to particular category. This will help monitor standard images within a set category and allow more moderation.
Has been finished. I posted a few screenshots below of the new features. Keep in the mind I haven't tweaked the interface yet, everything is just thrown in clumps. Once I'm done I'll make it look pretty. But don't let that stop you from comments! Let me know where it looks best.

New additions to the admin screen. Now shows Categories in the middle and file extensions on the right side. Room for change of course. I moved them like this incase an admin decides to create alot of everything so they can expand down without pushing everything else with it.
You can now specify the file extensions dynamically which I am proud of pulling off. My goal in the future is to expand this to all files not just avatars. This just put me closer to that goal. 
To allow uploading to a category just check the checkbox next to the category. Uncheck to cancel uploading. As you see Blizzard is not checked.

As you see the green circle I marked two of the new features present on that screen. As in the previous screenshot Blizzard was unchecked. Users can see that you may not upload to this category. Under that option, you see manage avatars. An option explained next.

Users now have their own screen to review their own avatars they selected / uploaded. They have the option to delete and delete only their avatars. FYI: THIS DOES NOT DELETE THE AVATAR IMAGE, only the association. I will add code so it will only delete the image if the image is located in the private avatar folder.

I found a loophole which I couldn't fix atm so I created a quick hack catch incase someone feels they want to play with the query. This catches the information and sends an email to the main admin email address with the following information:
Hacker Account
Target Account
Time of occurance
IP Address
Description
I'm really having fun with this as you can tell 
Also playing with query strings in this app will not work. Everything has double checks and will redirect you or report you. So good luck trying to break it!

| definitely. you're very prolific. are you sitting on a ton of inherited money or something, because i don't know where i would find the time to work this hard on something! as it stands i'm learning PHP and MySQL and it's taking forever with work and other things...< |

I am a full time work for the City of Richmond, Virginia. When I am not working I am a full time student for the local college. When I am not in class I tend to 1 of my 3 clients in web developement. The few hours I have left was put to gaming and entertainment. I switched that programming. I really don't know how I do it either.< |

Hey guys,
Private Uploading is complete.
Left to do:
Redesign Interface
Make Assigning Automatic if they choose to upload.
Show user's current avatar on the main page.
EDIT: I am very retarded.
Make Assigning Automatic if they choose to upload - Is already a feature by Richard. On the good note, I figured out the bug of why members were able to select Avatars that other people were uploading.
Richard has code that automatically assigns an avatar you upload to everyone. I gotta dynamically change the code to user ids of who is currently uploading then BAM that will be done.
So much for trying to create my function and failing miserably I don't fully understand classes yet.< |

Not yet. I haven't completed the rest of the add-ons for the next version. Also I haven't tested it yet on the live server. I should be finished this week. And please remember, this stage is still beta and nothing is finalized. You guys are my testers!
Small Assigning Issue on Current Version:
Members using any version are effected.
Anyone who uploads an avatar will cause a SQL Script to run which causes the avatar to be assigned to user 0. User 0 in avatars is none so it appears in all profiles. That SQL Script does not run when a user clicks to assign an avatars.
Sorry guys, I missed it.
To fix it search for the following on avatar_Data.asp:
dbConn.Execute (strSql),,adCmdText + adExecuteNoRecords
You can safely comment out that line. I will provide a fix next version.< |

Avatar Autoassigning is Complete! I found a simple way to do it. ETA on Version 2 should be Friday.
Left to do:
Show user's current avatar on the main page. (First)
Redesign Interface (Next)
Clean up Code (Afterwards)

Which would you prefer?
When a user access the Avatars.asp page he/she is shown their current avatar and a list of available avatars below, along with other categories. When he chooses a new avatar it is automatically assigned and throws him back to the Avatars.asp with updated information. Such as the avatar he just chose. Going this route would disable the use of managing avatars and having to go to your profile to swap avatars.

When he chooses a new avatar the page throws him back to the Avatars.asp. To use the avatar, he would have to log into his profile and select the avatar as they do now. Going this route is basically the same as you see it now except for the pop up window of assigning an avatar wouldn't exist. Everything would happen on that one page.
Which would you perfer?
Note - I also plan to add a URL field for avatars.
Also does this line really belong?
"To request more categories, email your Webmaster: your.email@yourserver.com"
Meaning, would you really use it?< |

| I'd like it very much if the avatars could be varying sizes. I regularly post on another board (phpBB) which allows avatars of various shapes and sizes but does limit the maximum size, i.e. height and width. Right now my avatars must be 96 x 96, or they just don't display correctly.< |
