Hi, I make very big portal usin Snitz Forum integration, This is not portal modification of Snitz, is a new portal and modify the forums and fusion it into mi portal with all tools and skins functions of the portal.

Iam using Snitz Forums credit link on all portal bottom including where Snitz Forum are not working, my portal is FREE GUI and have cover Snitz copyright protection on my terms and conditions for use.

The question... if Iam using Snitz credit on all portal pages can I remove original Snitz link of forum bottom??

I think redundant Snitz Link with double credit on forums page show really bad.

See portal pages www.bkportal.cdv3k.com forum www.bkportal.cdv3k.com/foros/

Others www.ykza.cdv3k.com forum www.ykza.cdv3k.com/foros/

Others www.asercavirtual.net forum www.asercavirtual.net/foros/

Check Snitz Link on all pages bottom

Thanks<

Ok, the portal have around 20 tools and zones like articles, news, web advice, downloads, classified, links, modules, events ......... and the forums is only 1 of 20 zones, I was sure you prefer see you link on all 20 modules and not on forums only, basic publicity ;) i think you win more with my ofert moving this line exactly from you inc_footer to my portal inc_footer

Im not sure if you understand me, sorry for my bad english, but is ok at you wish, i will stay original link on you footer only

NOTE: Can i add target="_blank" to you link?

Thanks<

It has nothing to do with publicity, if your pages use any Snitz code or use any of the tables/variables from the Snitz code, then you must include the Snitz copyright, if they do not contain any Snitz code then you do not need the copyright

We don't win anything, it is not a competition.

The code should already have this set.<

I've think Blakord's been missunderstood a little here, looks to me like they're wanting to add links to other NON Forum pages, which they are perfecttly entitled to do (in fact must do if they are using any Snitz code in them anyway).

For instance www.eq-halo.com contains many pages which have absolutely no Snitz related code or content in them at all, yet there is a "Forums Powered By" link on every page (approved by Mike many many moons ago)<

Not quite sure it is, I was talking about it being ok to have the link on non-forum pages. In my example I gave above Mike ok'd me having a slightly different link because I was putting it on all pages just like blakord is doing, but it made sense on the forum page not to have two powered by links, so the one in the original code was modified to match the portal pages.<

Gremlin I think you understand me :)

I make asp free portal, This is not Snitz modification is 100% my self code for all portal but on forums I'm using Snitz, I modify Snitz for run under my portal structure and functions and out of forums my portal aren't using snitz code.

I have a incTop and IncFooter pages for all portal, and I add on portal footer same copyright link of Snitz with my Blakord Portal Link to. But if you enter on forums, there my portal execute both footer includes, you can see Snitz Link 2 time on 1 page from snitz original and blakord portal footers

INC_PORTAL_TOP
INC_SNITZ_TOP

<% Snitz code %>

INC_SNITZ_FOOTER
INC_PORTAL_FOOTER

See double Snitz link where I take this shot, this is one page using Blakord Portal http://ykza.cdv3k.com/foros

I can't show Snitz Link 2 times in same page, then I offer him remove original Snitz and stay it on my portal footer, on my portal footer the Snitz Link will appear on ALL PAGES like articles, classifieds, downloads, news etc. and NOT in forums only.

I not say remove Power by Snitz link, I talk about move this link to my portal footer where the link appear on more pages.

But they choice stat the link on original footer, I have no problem then, I just remove Snitz link from Blakord Portal footer and stay it on Snitz Forums footer

I hope is clear now, sorry for my bad english, I learn my all english just playing Ever Quest for 4 years <

Someone know Max Portal? I just offer same modification of Power By link like Max Web portal, but with a diference here, Max Portal is runing under Snitz Forums structure, but on my portal, Snitz is runing under Blakord Portal structure, I think my offer was generous for it.

Any way they prefer original link, I stay it original without problem, thanks<

I just looked at your forum here. It's quite beautiful, especially after looking at some of the other "portalized" Snitzes. <
