the admin controls of this mod allow you to select just the members you want to have a photo album, so the answer is yes.< |

Sorry I meant to say: Is there a way to restrict the Photo album to be only viewable to selected members?< |

I wonder if it is possible to have the members' Album link to the topic.asp page where there is a link just below the Avatar - just like this forum page; http://arofanatics.com/forums/showthread.php?s=40e9111fda64967d9b3433968681e1fb&threadid=43338
So that those with photos in their album will show in the drop down menu while those without album will not show.
If it's possible, any idea how to go about doing the changes? Thank you.
Sorry if I've posted in the wrong forum category.

Burthold,
First off...outstanding mod!! The more I play with it, the more I like it.
One question, though...any chance you could provide some code that would modify the photo_album.asp page so that it only shows links to albums that have photos in them? It's kind of annoying to have to sift through tons of folders just to keep hitting empty albums.
nebber mind....solved it myself
Thanks!!

Hi Burthold or whoever can help,
Is it possible to have the link from each poster at the topic.asp to their respective Photo Album. That will really give lots of convenience to the user so that those with photos will have that link only. See the examples in the quote. Appreciate if you experts can help. Thank you.

To do this yourself you really need to know how the inc_iconfiles.asp file works, it's really easy, i've put it on topic.asp, members.asp and active.asp, click the link below and you'll see what I mean< |

Yes, I've seen that in your topic.asp but even those without photos in their album, the icon still display. Would it be better if there's no photo, the icon will not show? I'm not so sure how to do it as I'm basically not IT literate.
I think it should be the same as the Homepage and Cool Link code. Something along that line. Guess so.

Hi, this seems to be an excellent mod! But I have an suggestion:
Why not have a separate database for this mod? I run a forum with more then 1.000 members and the size of the database is more then 27 mb. See Forum Log Mod 3.4 db version 2.2 update, where havvoc made a separate database for his mod.
Is it possible for this mod as well
Cheers and thanks for a excellent work! Tomas< |

I've seen other posts of poeple who say they have some members can upload just fine but when they try delete any photos, it will bring the user right back to the photo album list start page.
I have a user on my forum with the same problem, so I logged on to a chat program with them to get to the bottom of this. When they first registered to my forum, they used both capatal and lower case letters. After that, they just always logged back in using lower case. example: MemberOne I seen the directory created for their photo album was also the same way case sensitve. So, I had them log in like MemberOne, and it worked just fine.
Great mod by the way Burthold < |

Thanks David, I just looked at your post from the Help: MOD Implementation area. I just made the change you described.
photo_album_detail.asp On line 107 Replace if Trim(UserName) = Trim(strDBNTUserName) then with if Trim(LCase(UserName)) = Trim(LCase(strDBNTUserName)) then
It works on my forum also, Nice work.< |

Burthold, I have jost noticed on the new release when using single album mode, the pictures no longer have "Posted By:" next to them... Is this by design?< |
