I'm not having such luck...

I installed the photo album mod.

I don't know what's wrong, but the "photo album configuration" link times out (admin options). Here's my error message...

--------------------------------------
Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/forum/admin_album.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.
--------------------------------------

Any ideas??

Thanks!

why did you not post this at Snitz?

The main reasons why this was not posted at Snitz and why I might not post the bugs I find
directly at Snitz anymore are the ways "ruirib and HuwR" take pleasure to criticize just about
anything I post and seem to resent the fact that I want to improve and correct Snitz which, I agree,
serve as the original base for my own Forum.

These are some of the actions I find unacceptable:
ruirib and HuwR take fun to Delete some of my topics, of my replies, locked or move my topic.

A topic posted last week from me to Davio in "Help: MOD Implementation" Forum as been deleted.

Two replies in my topic as been deleted about a bug on snitz topic page:
http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?whichpage=5.96&TOPIC_ID=44136#372029

A Fix to texanman as been deleted (first reply to texanman subject):
http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=66162

One of my Multi-Language Topic on Snitz has disappeared last night
Multi-Language and Multi-Language Skin3D
http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=40765

etc...

3 times I changed my password and the day after the same game start.

Since I send to HuwR a donation of $200 on December 22, 2006
this guy HuwR has never stop to pick on every thing I post on the Snitz Forum.

I think this problem shown as we could use Personal Message or Poll or anything scripts. if the original databse changed photo album script is broken down. I did test it fresh databse, everything ok, but when I try to use my modified database it not

Any answer?<

Do you think there is a way to make this work without the nconvert.exe? I think that is why my photos wont upload. I tested my permissions with proeders and it works, yet I cant upload with this gem. I think it is because it cant find nconvert.exe<

File did not upload to system please contact the system administrator

I have how ever given rights to read & write to the IIS_USR to the photo directory.

If I run trouble shooting on the photo album it says the following

Execute NConvert:
Test File Upload feature:
This is a test.
if you see "this is a test." above file checks out
Files should be able to upload to file system

Then I try to upload a file and get this.

exact path to file: /forum/photos
Write to file failed.No Errors detected, If you are still haveing problems please send me an email to Wesley Brown

Bunch of spaces for some reason.. Any thoughts??

Hi guys,

If you have this problem, you can solve it by changing a simple line in your clsupload.asp file..

Const FileSystemObjectEnabled = False

you should change this value to false from true..

Because, some ISP's do not allow the File System Object to be used althought they set your folders to be written..

OK chaps, here's a little task ....

This is my problem. The forum I run has over 2000 members, so when I go to add a members album, I have to sort through the drop down list of members to find the correct one.

How would you change the code so that when the option list is created, it is created in alphabetical order.

Here is the code that creates the list -

Set objRec = Server.CreateObject ("ADODB.Recordset")
		sqlstr = "select " & strTablePrefix & "members.M_NAME, " & strTablePrefix & "members.Member_Id," & strTablePrefix & "album_users.member_id as nullchk from " & strTablePrefix & "members "&_
		"left join " & strTablePrefix & "album_users on " & strTablePrefix & "members.member_id=" & strTablePrefix & "album_users.member_id "&_
		"where " & strTablePrefix & "album_users.member_id IS NULL"
		member_select ="	<select name=""adduser"">"
		objRec.Open sqlstr, My_Conn
				Do While not objRec.EOF
				member_select = member_select&"<option value="&objRec.fields("MEMBER_ID")&">"&objRec.fields("M_Name")&"</option>"
				objRec.MoveNext
				loop
		objRec.close
		member_select = member_select&"	</select>"
		set objRec = nothing

		if request.querystring("strOption") = 1 then

What needs to be added or taken away ?

Thanks to all.<
