Hey Davio thanks for the updates!
If I undertand the readme/history correctly
Poll Mod History: Version 2.0.3 - Added admin option turn enable/disable users to view poll results before they vote. - Fixed bug when admin locked a Category/Forum/Topic the poll will automatically be locked too. Each poll will have to be locked individually. - Modified files: topic.asp, admin_poll.asp, config.asp
I can just update my current topic and config files and replace the old with the new? (current ver 2.01
THanks John< |

You will need to update your inc_poll.asp file too from the original poll mod file. That was the only file updated from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2.< |

Yes, you would have to update your files too. Or you could wait until I release the site poll mod in a little while. I haven't heard anything from my second beta tester. (There was 2 of you testing it) I will email him and see what's up. If he gives the ok, i will release it. Shouldn' be too long.< |

Thanks, Davio ... just upgraded [easy!] to 2.0.3. Excellent! That "allow users to peek AND vote" feature was just what I wanted. Great mod, as always, just got better! < |

jkmcgrath, the polls have to have at least 1 vote before they show up on the active polls page.< |

Ok, the recent update I made to the mod to allow users to view the results before voting, doesn't exactly work corectly. This allows users to vote over and over and over again.
I will post another update soon. Sorry about that.< |

Thanks Davio, seems to work fine on my test site.
Looking forward to this Site Poll immensely. I'm actually working on my index.asp right now and i'm struggling for simple to update content... this'll be just the ticket! Will it be fully customisable, so that it can represent the look and feel of the page it's displayed on as opposed to the look of the forum?< |

Uhmm, the site poll mod is actually ready, (2 days ago) but I was waiting on one of my beta testers. But I will release it today.
Mark, what kind of person would make a site poll mod without being able to customize it? The only little problem I would have is, when you select the "Open poll in new window" feature, it uses the pop_poll.asp file from the forum, which uses forum colors. So I don't know if that's going to be a big problem for users. But I guess I will hear the response after I release it. < |
