Had a little problem installing the poll mod, running 3.4.03 I tried to run the dbs_poll_mod.asp but it doesn't create the table FORUM_POLLS and FORUM_POLL_VOTES, it says that they already exist. I can create them manualy but I like to know if somebody else had the same problem.
BTW, this is a first install not a reinstall.< |

Excellent MOD - but a short question: Is it possible to display the voter turnout in percentage?
Any hints how to realize this are welcome < |

Rusty, don't know what you mean by voter turnout?
Coolhinker, this is not a support topic or forum. I thought making the text bigger in the first post would have let users know not to ask for help in this topic?< |

I think he might mean the percentage of members who have participated in the poll/vote. Eg: If the forum has 600 members and 60 vote, there would be a 10% voter turnout.< |

You never said this wasn't for 3.1R4 Polls. Somehow I thought it was and unfortunately I have now lost 2 years of surveys, polls and votes. The discussion is still there at least which is usually more valuable than the poll results themselves.

You talking the upgrade part of the poll? Yeah it will only upgrade your polls from the 3.3 version. SR4 is too outdated for me to support.< |

Davio, question for you... Does this mod allow for a poll to be "open" but the thread locked so that members can vote but comments can not be posted (ie: replies made)? When I lock the thread, the poll is locked too. Any way around this?
Thx< |

BWJM, nope I'm sorry.
But if you are willing to try, it's just the topic.asp file that you need to edit to get what you want to do. Topic.asp checks the topic status to see if it is locked, and displays the results or the answers accordingly. The code would be in the GetFirst() sub.
If you need help with it just start a new topic in the MOD: Help Imeplementation forum.< |

Really nice work. I just implimented it on Snitz 3.4.01 and it went well; with a little bit thinking and even a little bit more thinking since it collided with the MOD Smile Manager 3.4 which I use. Now I am waiting to see if anything unexpected happens but so far everything seems to work well < |
