To upgrade from 3.3.05 you can simply upload all the files in the Snitz 3.3.05, except config.asp which you can keep from 3.3.03, and then run setup.asp.
If you have mods installed, you may prefer to apply each individual fix posted in the Announcements Security Related Bug Fixes forum. Make sure you have Show All Topics selected on the top right drop down box, when you visit this forum.
You can also choose to upload just the files changed from 3.3.03 to 3.3.04 and the files changed from 3.3.04 to 3.3.05. If you choose to do this, you'll still need to apply all your mod changes to these changed files.
You always need to run setup.asp after uploading the needed files to your server, except if you chose to apply all the security fixes, but even in this case you can upload setup.asp from the Snitz 3.3.05 download and execute it just to ensure that your Snitz version identification is updated.
It is important to state that the security fix for post.asp and post_info.asp is not included in the Snitz 3.3.05 release. So be sure to apply it manually.
None of these changes will affect the information in your database. All the posts, users, and configuration settings will be preserved when you upgrade. You should however make a backup of your current database, just as a general precautionary measure, and you should repeat this backup on a periodic basis, just to make sure that your data is always as safe as possible.
